This what you call “Photographing Beauty”

This is the way I like it. Shooting people in a more natural and relaxed tone.

Just look at them. All of them are very beautiful, and you can’t argue about any airbrush or Photoshop tool here. Man, I would love to have a photoshoot just like this. You see, what they used here is raw and unedited pics of Monica Bellucci, Eva Herzigova, and Sophie Marceau and they all look very wonderful even without make-up.

In this digital age wherein you can make beauty from almost anything, this move by Elle just proves that nothing beats the original, I mean, original people without retouches.

What I also admire with the pics is how they treated the pictures. Man, this is good and responsible photography. I see no harm in editing, but some people are just waaaaaay over on editing. I agree on minor retouches, but when we deform and deviate the real face for beauty’s (thanks to society’s standards) sake.

For the French, I salute you! You really know real beauty. :)
